The fine print
Terms of Use
Written in plain language, because you should not need a lawyer to invite your family.
Using Surprise Inside
Surprise Inside helps you create one celebration website that becomes a personal invitation for every guest. You must be 18 or older, and able to enter into a contract under Indian law, to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you publish and for having the right to share any photos and guest information you upload.
Your celebration and guests
Guest links are private bearer links. Share them only with the people they are meant for. You can rotate or revoke a link at any time. When you share links or send messages over WhatsApp, you are the sender: you are responsible for having each guest's agreement to be contacted, and every guest can stop messages from their own invitation page. The guest details you add, such as names, phone numbers, and family headcounts, can include children in a family; by adding them you confirm you have the family's agreement, from a parent or guardian where the guest is a child, to use those details for this celebration.
Payments and publishing
Publishing a celebration requires a one-time payment for the selected plan, collected securely through our payment provider. Publishing unlocks only after the payment is confirmed. Hosting runs for 12 months from the day you publish, after which the invitation is archived; keeping it live longer is a fresh one-time payment, and nothing renews on its own. Refunds and cancellation are covered by our
Refund and Cancellation Policy.
What you may not do
Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you were not given permission to use; our
Guest Content Rulesapply to everything guests write too. Do not use guest details for anything beyond the celebration they were shared for, impersonate another person, or attempt to probe, overload, or disrupt the service or another host's celebration. We may take down content or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we tell you when we do.
Our responsibility to you
We work to keep the service reliable but provide it as is, without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent Indian law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the celebration concerned, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost enjoyment of an occasion, lost data you did not upload to us, or costs of substitute services. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited under law, and nothing takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, write to us first: our
Contact and Grievance page names our Grievance Officer, and we acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. Subject to your rights under consumer-protection law, the courts at Bharuch, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product grows; the version and date are shown at the top of this page. When a change matters, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in, and the version you accepted stays recorded on your account.
